3. Accommodation

3.1. University Hotel

International students are accommodated in the University hotel for foreign students, which are situated within the main University's campus in the very centre of the city. The place has a very convenient location - it is just a hundred meters off Nevsky Prospect - the main street of the city with thousands of people walking to and fro all day and all night. From here a student gets a quick walking access to the most famous museums, architectural monuments, picturesque panoramic views of buildings, bridges, rivers and canals as well as to the largest shopping centres of St.Petersburg. International Office is situated in the same building. The building has a cafe, snack bar with a billiard room, food store, beauty parlour, laundry services. Cost of Accommodation: $12-30 a day depending on the type of room. 3.2. University Hostel

The University Hostel where the international students can also be accommodated is situated on Ligovsky prospect, 275. To get there you are to take a city bus or a commercial bus N3 from the center of the city (bus station is in front of the Kasan Cathedral) or by tram N 25, 49 from the Moscow Railway station.
The rooms are available for two, three and four persons and have kitchens and other facilities. The price is about $150 per month for one person.
